Grant Bruner

Grant (he/him) received his A.B. in Classics with a certificate in Archaeology from Princeton University in 2023. His Senior Thesis, entitled "Prepared with Plumbum: The Socioeconomics of Lead Production in Pompeii," focused on the social organization of labor in the lead industry. Grant has excavated in Greece and Italy; in Summer 2023 he served as an Assistant Supervisor in the Pompeii I.14 Project. His main research interests include the intersection of land, labor, and identity in the Roman countryside, especially the Roman rural economy and ancient metalworking industries.
