Second Year MA

Riley Glickman (she/her) graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Classical Studies, concentrating in Mediterranean Archaeology (2025). Her undergraduate thesis, titled “Mapping Knapping” analyzed the distribution of lithic tools to determine land use and settlement in Neolithic Sardinia. She has excavated in both Sardinia and at the Gabii project and served as both Assistant Survey Director and Digital Specialist at the Pran’e Siddi Project, Sardinia.

Her research interests lie with the study and reconstruction of polychromy, with a focus on Italic contexts. Her MA thesis will focus on the scientific analysis and reconstruction of colors on Etruscan architectural terracotta.
